Provocative outstayed her rivals to record a comfortable victory in the 2016 Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm this afternoon.
Jockey Leigh Innes rode Provocative with plenty of confidence and he had her travelling several horses wide coming into the straight, while Falkenberg took up the running from Romantic Maid.
Innes did not even have to ask Provocative for an effort and she still strolled up to the rest of the field and she put her rivals away without any problems in the final stages of the race to record an impressive win.
Ambience ground her way to the line in typical fashion to capture her third placing in an Oaks this season after finishing third behind Jameka and Honesta in the Crowns Oaks last November and second behind Sofia Rosa in the Australia Oaks in April.
Falkenberg finished third from Sebring Sally and there was a very big gap back to the rest of the field.
