Imposing Lass has continued to herald plenty of interest in 2016 Queensland Oaks betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au; cutting into outright favouritism at current $6.50 odds.

Returning to racing this time for success in the Ranvet BM67 (1400m) on April 6th, the Makfi filly repeated the dose in the Schweppes BM78 (1500m) on April 23rd before making a successful transition to black type company with a strong win in the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m).

Having run on well for third in the Group 2 The Roses (2000m) at Doomben three weeks ago, Imposing Lass will leave from barrier 10 in the Queensland Oaks with Jason Collett aboard.

Falkenberg has remained steady in 2016 Queensland Oaks betting markets and currently figures as sole occupant of the second line at a $7 quote for success.

Returning to racing this time for success in a Hawkesbury minor over 1400m, Falkenberg was completely luckless in running in the All Too Hard BM67 (1600m) on March 9th but produced a notable turn of foot to finish a close second.

Taking out the Schweppes BM67 (1600m) on March 28th, the More Than Ready filly placed fourth in each of the Schweppes BM78 and Gold Coast Bracelet before another luckless run for seventh in The Roses last start.

Provocative is lucky to have gained a start in the 2016 Queensland Oaks as the field’s first emergency, and now figures as outright third-favourite for success at generous $8 odds.

The Kiwi raider has been a strong and consistent performer for Tony Pike through her entire racing career so far and carries winning form into the Queensland Oaks.

Debuting for success in a New Plymouth minor over 1400m on December 27th, Provocative continued to impress through two subsequent minors before suffering a minor ailment when sixth in the Group 2 Avondale Guineas (2100m) on February 20th.

Returning for fourth in the NZI BM75 (1600m) at Te Rapa on May 7th, the Zabeel filly is so-far undefeated in Australia having taken out the Ipswich Cup Marquees Handicap (2190m) on May 18th.
