Having partnered the exciting three-year-old on just one occasion so far competitively; which also happened to be her sole race victory in January, Rawiller takes over from jockey Glen Boss, who steered Paris Match to an impressive second in the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m) last time out.

Known for maintaining a healthy working relationship with owner John Singleton, Cummings said Rawiller remains Singleton’s pick in any instance he is available for a ride.

“Nash Rawiller takes over from Bossy,” Cummings said.

“Nash is Singo’s number one rider whenever he can and he is available for the Oaks, so he jumps on.”

Returning to racing in competitive and consistent form this time in, Cummings has been understandably pleased with the record Paris Match has secured on her way to a maiden Group 1 appearance this weekend, highlighting her Gold Coast Bracelet performance as an ideal competitive cap.

“Her run the other day behind Tinto was excellent, she only just got nosed out, and her run before that behind Arabian Gold was very good.

“She has the right form lines to go to the Oaks and she is enjoying her work.”

Disappointing over two starts in her debut preparation throughout the autumn of 2013, the filly out of Fashions Afield spent nearly a year in the spelling paddock before returning for a maiden victory in a minor race over 1200 metres on January 27th.

Continuing to build in form, class and experience, Paris Match has more than earned her position in this weekend’s Eagle Farm featured in finishing a fighting fourth amongst classy competition in the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) prior to the Gold Coast Bracelet.
