The Group 1 Queensland Oaks is considered the premier staying event for fillies during the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival, taking place over 2,400 metres. Offering prize money of $400,000, the race takes place at set-weights and is held at the Eagle Farm Racecourse.

The Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival takes place during May – June every year and is shared between the beautiful and prestigious Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourses.
